Jonathan Titchenal – I knew him as John – was my partner and friend, a clever, sweet, and vibrant person (even if he usually wore nothing but black). He died unexpectedly in June 2020. Since then, his family and I have submitted several of his stories for posthumous publication, in addition to stories published while he was alive:
Haunted Indianapolis: And Other Indiana Ghost Stories by Jonathan Titchenal and Tom Baker (Bookshop.org link)
Coming soon: “Electrogarden” in Pharmacopeia Obscura from JayHenge Publishing
“Her Holiness” in Anna Karenina Isn’t Dead from Improbable Press
“No Mama, No Papa” in Outsiders Within from Abstruse Press
“Electrogarden” in The End of the World As We Know It from Das Krakenhaus Publishing
“Radical Division” in A Lonely and Curious Country from Ulthar Press
The short story collection Vanguard
In late 2020, I formatted a collection of some of John’s stories (and designed a cover!) to share with his family. In addition, we ordered a small print run from Lulu.com and put these books in Little Free Libraries, mostly in Indiana – but you may find a copy somewhere else out there!
